1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Tooolbox website, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Tooolbox is a public web service provided without account registration. Some features may behave differently depending on your browser, network, third-party services, or device environment.

2. Description of service

Tooolbox provides calculators and related information across topics such as health, finance, math, unit conversion, dates, daily life, science, and food.

The service is a free tool for informational and convenience purposes. It does not guarantee any specific result, return, health condition, tax outcome, legal conclusion, or investment performance.

3. Calculation results and no professional advice

Results are estimates generated from user inputs, public formulas, simplified assumptions, and browser calculation logic. Actual outcomes may differ depending on country, region, institution, product terms, personal circumstances, legal updates, exchange rates, and market conditions.

Health calculators are not medical diagnosis or treatment advice. Finance, investment, tax, and trading calculators are not professional financial, investment, accounting, tax, or legal advice. Before making important decisions, consult qualified professionals such as physicians, tax advisers, lawyers, accountants, or financial professionals.

4. User responsibility

• You are responsible for checking the suitability, accuracy, and use of your inputs and results.
• You must use the service in compliance with applicable laws and these Terms.
• You are responsible for losses, opportunity costs, health issues, tax, investment, or legal consequences arising from relying on the service as the sole basis for a decision.

5. Prohibited conduct

• Interfering with the service or generating excessive automated requests, scraping, crawling, or load
• Attempting to bypass access restrictions, analyze code, intrude, or inject malicious scripts without permission, including under the claim of security testing
• Copying, distributing, selling, republishing, or using Tooolbox content, design, code, data, or calculation logic in a confusing or unauthorized way
• Using the service for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or infringing purposes
• Circumventing advertising, analytics, security functions, or infringing third-party rights

6. Intellectual property and license

Rights in the Tooolbox name, UI, content, code, calculator structure, explanations, design elements, and other materials belong to Tooolbox or the appropriate rights holders.

You may use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes and share links to individual pages. You may not copy all or a substantial part of the site or integrate it into a separate service, app, database, or advertising product without permission.

7. Advertising and external links

Tooolbox may display third-party advertising such as Google AdSense to support the free service. Advertisements, external links, third-party websites, and third-party services are the responsibility of their respective providers.

When you leave Tooolbox through an external link or use a third-party service, that provider’s terms and privacy policy apply instead of Tooolbox policies.

8. Changes, suspension, and termination

Tooolbox may change, limit, suspend, or terminate all or part of the service for improvements, security, maintenance, cost, legal, or operational reasons.

Tooolbox does not guarantee that the service will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or available at a specific time or in a specific region.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tooolbox is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use or inability to use the service, calculation errors, data delays, ads or external links, or user decisions.

10. Changes to terms

Tooolbox may update these Terms to reflect changes to service features, laws, advertising and analytics tools, or operating policies. Updates will be posted on this page by revising the effective date or last updated date.

Continued use of the service after updated Terms are posted means you accept the changes.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are interpreted under the laws of the Republic of Korea. Mandatory consumer protection rights in your place of residence are not limited where they apply.

Disputes related to the service should first be resolved through mutual discussion. If no resolution is reached, jurisdiction will follow the courts designated by applicable law.

12. Contact

Service errors, policy questions, and rights infringement reports may be submitted through the public GitHub Issues channel. Do not include sensitive personal information in a public channel.
